Patient Journey

At INEO Clinic we believe that quality medical care must extend far beyond the operating room. Medical treatment is a complex combination of steps that presents too many unknowns for the patient to take care of on their own. That is why every step of the patient’s journey is taken care of by our coordinator team, ensuring an effortless process of transformation and healing. Here is a general overview of what you can expect from your INEO Clinic experience:

Initial inquiry

The first step is to fill out the brief form that you can find here. You will be contacted by one of our customer care representatives, who will answer your questions, and request additional information for the surgeon to make their pre-consultation assessment. It will be necessary for you to send us your relevant photos. Please find a guide on how to take photos here.

Pre-consultation assessment

Based and the information and photos provided, a surgeon will make recommendations and will provide a preliminary price for the treatment (or a combination thereof). You’ll need to fill out a short medical questionnaire, after which the time for your online consultation will be appointed.

Online consultation

During your consultation, you together with the surgeon will clarify your goals and expectation, as well as answer any questions and address any concerns that you may have. Once the surgeon approves you for the surgery, a date for your surgery will be selected and your INEO coordinator will assist you in making the proper arrangements prior to your arrival, and for the entire time that you are under our care.

Preparing for travel

You will need to book accommodation and flights for the appropriate dates. If you want, your INEO coordinator will recommend one of our hospitality partners for any package deals that may be available. In addition to special deals, the advantage of booking with one of our hospitality partners is the special attention that will be paid to your needs during your recovery period. Our hospitality partner will be provided with information about your dietary restriction and restrictions to physical mobility, and will assist you in all ways necessary during your stay.

Before the flight

As you wait for the date of the surgery, make sure you are taking the necessary steps to prepare your body for the surgery. Information about the rules you need to follow before the surgery can be found here. Also, if you are wondering what to pack for your trip, you may consult our luggage guide.

COVID-19 rules

Please read Lithuania’s current COVID-19 rules for all new arrivals here. To ensure the safety of our medical staff and patients, you will be required to arrive with a negative COVID-19 test done no earlier than 72 hours prior to your arrival to Lithuania. Once in Lithuania, you will need to do an additional COVID-19 test, which will be administered at our clinic along with the preoperative blood test, and will cost 70 EUR.

Arriving to Lithuania

You will need to arrive to Lithuania one day before the date of your surgery, allowing for enough time for the necessary medical tests.  A member of our customer care team will meet you at the airport, and transfer you to the hotel.

At the clinic

A member of our customer care team will transfer you from the hotel to the clinic for the final live consultation and the pre-surgery health tests. After the consultation, you will fill out the remaining paperwork and make the payment.

The surgery

On the day of your surgery you will be provided with a private room where you will spend up to two nights. The room comes with Wi-Fi, three meals a day, and 24h medical attention.

After your surgeon discharges you from the clinic, a member of our customer care team will take you back to the hotel. There you will spend between 5 t0 10 days, depending on the scale of your surgery, enjoying the local amenities and beauty of the Baltic coast. The day before your flight, you will be transferred back to the clinic for a brief final health check where the surgeon will ensure that the healing process is going as planned, and it is safe for you to travel.

Returning home

Before your departure, the surgeon will give instructions for wound care, and you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home. Once home, you are still encouraged to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Aftercare partners

We have a growing portfolio of aftercare partners that provide plastic surgery aftercare services to our patients in their home countries. The range of services includes removal of stitches, lymph drainage massage, and laser scar treatment.
